Been some time since the last update of the news reel, but I will try my best to keep it brief. Since its a New Year, there are some basics that need to be established! With the lack of dedicated server support, our ideas of server support for MW2 fell through the floor quite rapidly, but with that said, we still are largely into the MW2 scene. Most of us still play it on the PS3, but we are attempting to recruit more for the PC side of things.

With the above said, application are still open, recruits should be above the age of 16, but exceptions will be made based on several conditions, but not to worry... if your skilled, fun, and mature about how you conduct yourself you have the best of best chances to get in. I will promise that ;)

All of us here @ Spectre Unit are very pleased so far by the MW2 Release (minus the online issues that were going around, thankfully they are fixed now!) We are recruiting once more, however you\'ll find most of our members on the PS3 version of the game. Although we do have members on the PC too ;)

Recently =SU= has undergone some changes that I, Stormreaver, feel need to be updated for our readers and visiters on the front page.

Over the course of the last few months the public server has seen less activity then prefered. To solve this issue (or loosing out financially each month), we @ =SU= made the joint choice of shutting down the server for good. However, with this news, we are proud to announce that come November 10th, =SU= will be hosting some of the first wave of Modern Warfare 2 servers on the net!

The server will be 20 slots like before, and host fierce combat between many different combatants. When more specifics are available, they will be post both here and in the forums under the MW2 section.

Also, =SU= has once more re-opened

I am Stormreaver, Commander of Spectre Unit.

=SU= was formed in October 2008 as a means of fun and competitive gaming alike. While most clans or guilds struggle to host both casual gamers and competitive gamers, here at =SU= we make room for everyone. All voices are heard on everything talked about and no one is bashed about their style of gaming.

Currently, we find ourselves in both PC Gaming and Console Gaming...

We are openly recruiting as many people as possible to the ranks of Spectre Unit. We focus ourselves into a set of games (BF2, BF2142, CoD4, CoD5, Sins of a Solar Empire, Halo 3, Resistance 2, Killzone 2), but are open to any and all games people wish to play.
